Failure. Something that we are all afraid to face. Something that holds us back from exploring a new world that could change our lives forever. But we won’t take a chance, because we are afraid of failure. Failure is something none of us want to face. Yet, even though it is something we do not want to face, that doesn’t always mean it’s bad. Failure is pretty two sided when it comes to how people apply it to themselves. Sometimes failure can really tear someone down, and sometimes it can get someone to work harder. Some people understand how to learn and grow from their mistakes, and some allow it to hold themselves down from moving forward. People tend to forget that it’s okay to make mistakes. They forget that we are all human beings. None of us are perfect, and none of us should be. We all have our own journey and all have different lives and different ways to go about it. We shouldn’t always be worried about whether or not we are going to mess up, because if we all did that, we wouldn’t have many of the things we have now. We wouldn’t have changed anything. We would have all stayed the same. We would all be the the same people going about the same lives and living the same day everyday if it wasn’t for people who took chances and were okay with failure every once in awhile. We tend to lock ourselves up in a cage to prevent ourselves from making any mistakes. The problem is that people distance themselves from things because they are afraid of them. People hold themselves back from things to avoid that feeling of anxiety. The feeling of the unknown. Many people are worrying about doing the wrong thing, and messing up. But they don’t look at how they could learn from the experience. Sometimes we have to go through times we don’t want to go through in order to grow. Sometimes we have to take chances to find new ways. And even sometimes we have to deal failure. But that isn’t the end. You take what you learned from your mistakes and you apply it to yourself. You learn and you grow. You know know a little bit more that you did before. You are aware of a little bit more that you were before. More importantly, you’ve grown to understand more than you understood before. You understand how to deal with the situation and for the future, how to avoid it. You understand how it was not the right thing to do and how to distance yourself from a situation like that in the future. And once you apply it to yourself, you become a better person than you were before. You learn more about yourself and how you are strong and are able to handle anything that is given to you. As long as you remind yourself how you shouldn’t dwell on the amount of times you were pushed down. Because that’s not what matters. What matters is the amount of times you got back up. You showed the world that you can do it and you told yourself that you aren’t giving up. And by having that mindset and always moving forward, you get stronger and stronger every time. Your view of the world will begin to change and you will change. You will begin to value your work and give yourself credit. You won’t be so worried about messing up, and with that in the back of your mind, you will accomplish so many things that you never thought you could do before. But most importantly. You will be happy. You will be happy with your accomplishments, the world around you, and yourself. And that’s how you will grow.
